This replaces the earlier 2-year or 40,000 km warranty and is effective immediately.

Citroën India has announced an extension of its standard warranty for internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles, offering coverage of 3 years or 100,000 km, whichever comes first. This replaces the earlier 2-year or 40,000 km warranty and is effective immediately. However, the warranty for the brand’s sole electric vehicle (EV), the eC3, remains unchanged.

The warranty eliminates out-of-pocket expenses for repairs covered under the policy.

Shishir Mishra, Brand Director, Citroën India, said, “Citroën’s mission has always been to provide Indian customers with vehicles that combine innovative design, comfort, and reliability. By introducing a 3-year/100,000-kilometer warranty as standard, we’re reaffirming our confidence in our product quality and enhancing the ownership experience for our valued customers in India.”

The updated warranty provides comprehensive protection, covering manufacturing and material defects. Key features include transferable coverage, which adds value during resale, and assurances of genuine parts and services from authorised centres. Additionally, the warranty eliminates out-of-pocket expenses for repairs covered under the policy.

The warranty for the brand’s sole electric vehicle (EV), the eC3, remains unchanged.

The company’s current lineup includes four ICE models—the C3, C5 Aircross, Aircross, and the recently launched Basalt Coupe SUV, priced from ₹8.25 lakh (ex-showroom). Citroën also offers the eC3, its fully electric compact vehicle.
