Honda QC3 Electric Scooter Launched At ₹1.35 Lakh

Honda expanded its EV portfolio in India by launching the new QC3 electric scooter for ₹1.35 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Honda electric scooter will be initially offered only in five cities (not specified which all) but our guess is Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad. The Honda QC3 will be available only at select Honda RedWing dealerships in the above cities. Deliveries are expected to start by late 2026 or early 2027 and bookings have started for the electric scooter. 

Unlike the Honda Activa E, the QC3 gets a fixed battery on the footboard. According to the brand the electric scooter delivers 145 km of IDC range and boasts a 3 kWh battery pack. Charging time from 0-80 per cent is 2hrs and 40 mins and a full charge will take around 4 hrs.

Honda hasn’t shared any specifications or spoken about the performance of the QC3, which leads us to believe that acceleration will not be very quick and top speed could be under 70 kmph, making it a proper city commuter. 

On the features front, the Honda QC3 gets a 5-inch TFT instrument console with Honda RoadSync and turn-by-turn navigation. There’s also a smart key for starting the scooter and since the battery has been positioned below the footboard, the underseat storage is good at 32 litres, adding to the convenience factor. Honda’s EV journey in India has been very unsuccessful and the Japanese brand will be banking on the new QC3 to change its fortune in the Indian electric scooter segment. The Honda QC3 will compete with the Ather Konarc, Bajaj Chetak, Vida VX2 and the TVS iQube.
