Legendary British motorcycle brand BSA Motorcycles is set to make deeper inroads in the UK. For its owner, Classic Legends is gearing up to build a new factory in the country starting from the next financial year onward.
Mahindra & Mahindra-backed Classic Legends already produces the BSA Goldstar 650 for the UK in India. With this new facility, the 650 cc, single-cylinder motorcycle will not just be produced in the UK, but will also be exported to other developed markets like the USA, Australia, and Japan. “The bikes will be manufactured in the UK for the world,” said Anupam Thareja to The Economic Times.

The UK facility will be among several plants that Classic Legends will build overseas to establish itself as a major global motorcycle maker. Currently, they are finalising the capital expenditure for the plant.
Not only that, there is a high likelihood of the brand BSA being introduced in the Indian market this year. With the Goldstar 650 spotted on test numerous times, it would be pretty logical to see it go on sale soon.
