The CMF Phone 1 will be the company's entry-level offering.
Nothing's sub-brand CMF is reportedly gearing up to unveil its first smartphone soon. While the device has not been officially announced yet, a new leak has surfaced, providing some key details about the upcoming CMF Phone 1.
According to a report by 91mobiles, the CMF Phone 1 will be the company's entry-level offering and is expected to be more affordable than Nothing's current smartphones. It will reportedly be priced at around Rs 12,000 in India, making it significantly cheaper than the Nothing Phone 2a, which retails for Rs 23,999.
In terms of design, the CMF Phone 1 is said to feature a plastic body and will be available in three colour variants - black, white, and orange. The front of the device will likely have Gorilla Glass protection on the 6.5-inch display.

Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity chipset and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging speeds. It will run Nothing's custom Android-based Nothing OS with fewer flagship features. CMF has reportedly committed to three years of OS updates and four years of security patches.
Additional leaked specs of the CMF Phone 1 include a single rear camera, but camera details remain unclear for now. While the device was recently spotted on BIS, CMF is yet to announce the model officially.
If launched at the speculated sub-Rs 15,000 price point, the CMF Phone 1 would undercut not just Nothing's portfolio but also compete aggressively in the entry-level segment.
