At the Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition (Auto Guangzhou), Dongfeng Nissan introduced the N7, an all-electric sedan exclusively scheduled to hit the Chinese market in the first half of 2025. The N7 is set to become a flagship in Nissan's electrification journey in the world’s largest car market and is also the first model based on Dongfeng Nissan's new modular architecture, exclusively designed for electrified vehicles.
Developed and manufactured entirely in China, the N7 was earlier previewed this year as the Nissan Epoch Concept at the Beijing Motor Show. The electric sedan measures 4,930 mm in length, 1,895 mm in width, and 1,487 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,915 mm.
The N7’s interior features an entertainment system powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P processor. This chipset is said to deliver significant computing power for navigation, entertainment, and connectivity. Autonomous driving capabilities are a key highlight of the N7.
Developed in partnership with Momenta, the car will feature an innovative ADAS called "Navigate on Autopilot." This system aims to improve safety and convenience by integrating advanced sensor technology and machine learning, enabling semi-autonomous navigation in specific driving conditions.
The N7’s unveiling comes as part of The Arc, Nissan’s midterm plan to accelerate the development and global export of new energy vehicles from China. This marks the first completely new, all-electric model launched in China under the plan.
Dongfeng Nissan is leveraging its local partnerships and the country’s rapidly evolving electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem to meet the demands of a discerning market.
