Dongfeng Nissan Previews N6 PHEV and New Teana

Dongfeng Nissan has revealed the exterior styling and key technical details of the N6, marking the brand's inaugural plug-in hybrid sedan offering, along with the redesigned Teana. The two advanced sedans were presented at an event commemorating Nissan's Chinese operations. Both models are slated for market launch in China before the end of this year.

The N6 is the first plug-in hybrid (PHEV) sedan built on Dongfeng Nissan’s new energy technology architecture, sharing its technological lineage with the popular all-electric N7 sedan. Its PHEV system features a 1.5-litre gasoline engine paired with a 21.1 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, with more details to be announced closer to the start of sales.

Measuring 4,831 mm in length, 1,885 mm in width, and 1,491 mm in height, the N6 boasts a 2,815 mm wheelbase, combining an elegant silhouette with a spacious interior.

The exterior design features a V-Motion signature grille and expressive LED lighting at the front and rear. Sleek, organic lines give the vehicle a confident, dynamic presence. Despite its streamlined profile, the cabin offers impressive space and comfort, tailored to meet the needs of Chinese families seeking reliability, intelligence, and comfort.

The new Teana adds updated design and advanced intelligent connectivity, while maintaining the premium comfort and sophistication it has become renowned for in China. Notably, it will be the first internal combustion engine vehicle in China equipped with Huawei’s HarmonySpace5.0 smart cockpit.

The exterior has been redesigned with sharp, elegant lines that show a premium and sophisticated aesthetic. Inside, the Teana features the new Huawei HarmonySpace5.0 smart cockpit, complemented by a new Huawei ‘SOUND’ audio system. The inclusion of these features and more, are set to usher in a new era of comprehensive, intelligent comfort for the nameplate.
