Renault India said the performance marks a second consecutive quarter of strong sequential growth for the brand in the country.
Renault India on Friday posted domestic wholesale sales numbers of 5,413 units for April 2026, which is a 108 per cent year-on-year increase from the 2,602 units recorded in the same month last year. This is a strong start to FY27 for the French carmaker.
The company attributed the growth to its refreshed model line-up, with the new-generation Triber and Kiger -- both introduced in September 2025 -- continuing to draw buyers. The recently launched Duster has also added to the momentum, with customer demand picking up quickly following the start of deliveries in the latter half of April.
Renault India said the performance marks a second consecutive quarter of strong sequential growth for the brand in the country.
On the retail front, Renault has been extending its sales and service network to keep pace with rising demand. The company recently opened a new'R store and a workshop in Ranchi, bringing its total number of sales and service touchpoints nationwide to 638.
