Ducati India has opened its first dedicated service-only workshop in Goa, marking a new approach to expanding its after-sales network in the country. The 1,200 sq.ft facility located in Mapusa, North Goa, will feature two automated service bays and a customer lounge. Located just off the NH-66 highway, the workshop is very strategically important as it will serve as the ideal stopping point for riders travelling along India's western and southern coastal routes.
The facility will provide servicing, spare parts, accident repairs, and fitting of genuine Ducati parts and accessories. It represents the first service-only setup of its kind for the Italian motorcycle manufacturer in India.
The workshop will be operated by Legacy Motors, which already runs Ducati's operations in Pune. Pranav Bakre, dealer partner at Legacy Motors, said, “Since the last two years, Ducati Pune has secured the top spot as the best dealer in the country, and we aim to bring the same level of passion, professionalism and competence to Goa by partnering with Ducati to open the first ever Ducati authorized service set-up in India.” Ducati India also plans to announce a dedicated Ducati Owners Club for Goa in the near future The move comes as premium motorcycle manufacturers seek to expand their service networks beyond major cities to support growing numbers of enthusiasts taking long-distance touring trips.
“The launch of our first service-only facility in Goa is a significant milestone in our efforts to enhance Ducati’s after-sales ecosystem in India. Goa, with its scenic routes and passionate riding community, has always been close to the Ducati spirit. This new service setup not only brings Ducati’s renowned service standards to the Goan Ducatisti but also serves as a crucial pit stop for riders on long-distance road trips along the west coast,” concluded Bipul Chandra, Managing Director at Ducati India.
