The new initiative gives Ducati clients a tonne of new cosmetic and feature options to customise their ADV.
Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati has introduced an all-new customisation initiative called Ducati Factory Made (DFM), marking the first time the brand is offering factory-level personalisation directly on its Borgo Panigale production line. The programme makes its debut in Europe with the Multistrada V4, allowing customers to configure their motorcycles based on their personal choice at the time of ordering, with every selected option installed during the actual manufacturing process rather than post delivery as an accessory.
Through Ducati Factory Made, buyers can now receive their Multistrada V4 exactly as envisioned, without requiring aftermarket installation or additional dealer-level modifications. Because all chosen components and finishes are assembled inline during production, Ducati claims the build quality along with the fit and finish is as per factory standards.
One of the most striking aspects of the Ducati Factory Made programme is the extensive array of new colours and liveries available to customers. The range includes Icone colours that celebrate Ducati’s heritage, and the glossy tones of the Style series that project modern elegance. Riders seeking a more understated yet exclusive look can opt for matte finishes from the Sophistication collection, while performance enthusiasts can choose from bold Performance Liveries or the highly evocative Ducati Corse Liveries, which draw inspiration from the brand’s storied racing legacy.
As part of Ducati Factory Made, select colour options from Lamborghini’s prestigious Ad Personam palette are now available to Multistrada V4 customers, including distinctive shades such as Viola Pasifae, Arancio Xanto, Giallo Belenus, Blu Uranus and Verde Scandal. These exclusive finishes allow buyers to imbue their motorcycles with a level of individuality typically associated with bespoke supercars.
Beyond visual enhancements, Ducati Factory Made offers a comprehensive suite of technical configuration options. Customers can select from cast wheels in various colours, forged light alloy wheels for reduced weight and enhanced performance, or traditional spoked wheels suited for more rugged riding conditions. Additional choices extend to rear frame colours, brake caliper finishes, and ergonomic adjustments such as varying seat heights for both rider and passenger. Suspension configuration options further enable riders to tailor the motorcycle’s setup to their specific preferences, effectively delivering a near handcrafted level of personalisation straight from the factory floor.
Ducati Factory Made is now live on Ducati’s official website, where customers across Europe can build and visualise their ideal Multistrada V4 using an intuitive online configurator. Whether or not Ducati extends the Factory Made programme to Indian customers remains to be seen.
