Dyson has launched its newest air purifier, the Dyson Purifier Big+Quiet in India. This new model delivers powerful purified airflow throughout large rooms while operating at whisper-quiet levels.
The Dyson Purifier Big+Quiet utilizes an air projection system called Cone Aerodynamics. This technology merges two air streams to create a concentrated, long-range jet that can project over 10 meters. The redesigned airflow system provides more than double the airflow of previous Dyson air purifiers.
Despite the powerful airflow, Dyson engineers have managed to make the Purifier Big+Quiet the company's quietest purifier yet. As per Dyson, it generates just 56 decibels of noise at its highest setting. This feat was achieved through extensive research into aerodynamics, acoustics, filtration and compressor design. Key noise-reduction features include a broadband Helmholtz silencer, a labyrinth seal, and a soft-mounted motor.
The three-phase filtration system has also been improved to capture 99.95% of ultrafine particles as small as 0.1 microns. It includes allergens, bacteria, pollen and other pollutants. The fully sealed filtration system ensures that once pollutants are captured, they remain trapped in the filter.
Integrated sensors continuously monitor air quality, tracking particles, gases, temperature and humidity levels. This data allows the Big+Quiet air purifier to automatically adjust its settings accordingly. Owners can also monitor indoor air quality in real time through the Dyson app.
According to Dyson, the Purifier Big+Quiet was rigorously tested in a 100 sqm chamber to validate its performance in real-world conditions. It goes beyond standard industry testing conducted in small 12 sqm chambers.
The Dyson Purifier Big+Quiet is available at ₹68,900 in India. It can be purchased directly from Dyson.com, Dyson demo stores and major electronics retailers. It comes in White and satin Silver colours.
