Indian electric two-wheeler maker e-Sprinto has launched the G1 family electric scooter, marking its foray into the B2C electric two-wheeler segment. The new e-Sprinto G1 is priced from ₹89,999 for the 2 kWh battery pack, going up to ₹99,999 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the 3 kWh battery pack. e-Sprinto says the new G1 is designed for Indian families and everyday mobility, and a step-up for the brand as it targets private buyers. Pre-bookings are now open but e-Sprinto will commence deliveries of the G1 from January 2027 onwards.

The e-Sprinto G1 is available in three variants  - 2 kWh, 2.5 kWh, and 3 kWh, each separated by a cost of ₹5,000. The G1 2 kWh version promises a claimed range of 80 km, which goes up to 100 km on the 2.5 kWh version, while the 3 kWh battery option promises 130 km of range on a single charge. There are three riding modes available - Eco, City, and Sport, which limit speeds up to 30 kmph, 40 kmph, and 50 kmph.

The G1 has a payload capacity of 150 kg, and rides on 12-inch tubeless tyres with a ground clearance of 165 mm. The company says the battery pack is IP67-rated, ensuring protection against dust and water ingress. Other features include a combi-braking system and  digital instrument console. The latter gets navigation functionality, albeit as an optional subscription pack. The electric scooter will be available in four colour options - Charcoal Black, Slate Grey, Horizon Blue and Pine Green.

Speaking about the launch, Shalu Gupta, Co-Founder, e-Sprinto, said, “The launch of the G1 is an important milestone for e-Sprinto as we expand into the B2C market. Our experience in the B2B segment has helped us understand that the relationship with a customer extends well beyond the product itself. Reliability, availability, service and spare-parts support are equally important. Over the past two years, we have focused on understanding the needs of Indian families and translating those insights into the G1. Our goal is to make electric mobility more accessible while building long-term trust with our customers.”

As we enter the B2C market, our priority is to complement the product with a strong sales, service and spares ecosystem, ensuring that customer confidence remains central to our growth.”
e-Sprinto says it is building on its presence in the B2B space, as it diversifies into the B2C segment. The company already has about 70,000 units on Indian roads, while its production capacity stands at 1.5 lakh units across three manufacturing facilities.
