The Mavrick 440 gets hardware and feature updates.
Hero MotoCorp had a very busy outing at the 2024 EICMA motorcycle show as it unveiled the new XPulse 210, Xtreme 250 and the Karizma XMR 250. Despite this long list of products, Hero also showcased the new Mavrick 440. The largest displacement Hero motorcycle got a new makeover to make it more attractive for Indian bikers. The big change is the inclusion of an USD fork finished in gold, it’s the same unit as seen on the Harley-Davidson X440. The chunk USD units should help in elevating the visual of the bike as many felt that the proportion of the bike is too small for its engine displacement.
The other new addition is a TFT screen, again lifted from its American sibling but with a different UI to differentiate the two consoles. Apart from this the Hero Mavrick 440 displayed at EICMA had a nice stealthy grey shade which looked really cold with the golden fork. It is powered by the same 440 cc single-cylinder air-/oil-cooled mill that makes around 27 bhp and 36 Nm. Hero hasn’t announced pricing for the updated Mavrick 440 or even a launch timeline, but we expect it to go on sale in 2025. Prices for the standard Mavrick 440 range from ₹1.99 lakh to ₹2.24 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
