Hero MotoCorp showcased the Vida Ubex, which is slated to be its first electric motorcycle.
Hero MotoCorp took the opportunity at EICMA 2025 to showcase a number of models, one of which was the much-awaited Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition. Earlier showcased as a concept at Auto Expo 2025, the Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition celebrates the 2024 FIM World Title and the company’s recent Dakar Podium finish.
The Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition has been engineered, conceptualized and developed jointly at Hero’s R&D centres in India and Germany. This version of the adventure motorcycle has the familiar white, red, and black colour scheme as seen on the Dakar bike. Essentially a full rally-spec Xpulse, this iteration gets critical mechanical updates over the regular Xpulse 210.

For instance, it has a fully adjustable, rally-grade suspension with 280 mm of travel at both the ends. As a result, its ground clearance has been increased to a towering 270mm. Further, the seat height has also gone up significantly, compared to the 830mm saddle of the stock motorcycle, although Hero hasn’t specified by how much exactly. The rest of the motorcycle remains unchanged.
Powering the Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition is the same 210 cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine that propels the regular Xpulse 210. This motor churns out 24.26 bhp and 20.7 Nm of peak torque, and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch.
Besides petrol-powered models, Hero also showcased a number of electric two-wheelers under the Vida brand. Leading the pack is the Vida Ubex concept, whose name is drawn from “Urbex” — shorthand for urban exploration. As its name suggests, the Ubex is a city-oriented electric motorcycle inspired by supermoto design principles. Vida highlights the model’s focus on ride comfort, further underscoring its supermoto character.

Following it is the Vida VXZ, developed in partnership with Zero Motorcycles. While this marks a significant milestone for the collaboration, the companies are yet to reveal further technical or performance details.
Vida also presented the Dirt.E K3, an electric dirt bike for children based on the earlier Acro concept. Targeted at riders aged between 4 and 10 years, the K3 features an adjustable wheelbase and rider triangle, with an India launch on the horizon. Complementing it was the Dirt.E MX7, a full-size dirt bike built around a lightweight carbon-fibre frame.
