Elektrobit launches EB Civion suite at CES 2026 to accelerate SDV digital cockpit development, reduce costs, and enhance supply chain control for OEMs.
Elektrobit has introduced EB Civion at CES 2026. It is a new suite of solutions aimed at enhancing supply chain control for automotive OEMs and speeding up the development of digital cockpits in software-defined vehicles (SDVs).
The EB Civion ecosystem integrates Elektrobit's software expertise and includes three main components: EB Civion Creator, a cloud-native virtual environment for rapid human-machine interface and application prototyping; EB Civion Core, hardware-agnostic software assets for cockpit controllers; and EB Civion Cockpit, domain controller solutions with build-to-print designs tailored to specific system-on-chips.
These tools are designed to enable shorter development cycles through cloud-based prototyping and modular software, lower overall costs via reduced complexity, and greater scalability with pre-integrated options for major chipsets.
The suite draws on partnerships with companies such as AMD, AWS, Google, Infineon, and Qualcomm Technologies, incorporating cloud services and hardware integrations.
Maria Anhalt, Chief Executive Officer of Elektrobit, stated that digital cockpits are central to in-vehicle experiences, and EB Civion addresses development challenges by improving time-to-market, supply chain management, and cost efficiency through ready-to-integrate software.
At CES 2026, Elektrobit will also present demonstrations on Linux for safety systems, scalable ECU development, and EV platforms, with solutions visible across partner exhibits.
