The new Pulsars will be launched by the end of March
Among the many updates the Pulsar family members are going to witness in 2024, one of them is the addition of a USD fork to its new gen 250 cc Pulsars. Yes, the Pulsar N250 and F250 will soon be arriving with a more sophisticated suspension setup. The more advanced unit is likely to be borrowed from the NS200, albeit using a different suspension tune.
Not only did we spot the upcoming Pulsar N250, we also did come to know that even the N160 would be getting the update. It is highly likely that Bajaj might just launch the updates together for both the 160 and the 250, which should take place by March. There would be a price revision for the bikes, the asking price likely to go up by ₹ 5000. Currently, the N160 retails at ₹ 1.30 lakh while the 250s cost ₹ 1.50 lakh each (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi).
Mechanically, Bajaj isn’t likely to tinker with either the 249 cc or the 164.82 cc mills. Both of these engines are quite torquey and smooth, one of the best in their classes. The bikes make sporty riding as well as commuting an effortless experience.
The addition of the USD fork might just only be to spruce up its freshness a bit. And since it is Bajaj and the Pulsars that we are talking about, we might just see some fresh new colours, something that is seriously lacking in its portfolio. At the moment, each one of these is only available in the Brooklyn Black shade. While the black option will remain, Bajaj should introduce some brighter shades as well.
We shall know more about the Pulsars’ arrival during the media briefing day of the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 ride.
