The Harrier.ev is expected to launch in India later this year.

Tata Motors showcased the near-production-ready Harrier.ev at the 2025 Auto Expo and it has now been spotted testing near the National Automotive Test Tracks (NATRAX) in Indore. While it isn’t confirmed that the Harrier.ev was being tested at the NATRAX, it does indicates that Tata Motors is extensively testing the car in its final stages before it is launched later this year.

The Harrier.ev will get chunky aero-designed alloy wheels.

The Harrier.ev seen near the NATRAX was under heavy camouflage, which is strange since the near-production-ready version was already shown at the Auto Expo earlier this year. The Harrier.ev test mule can be seen with chunky alloy wheels hiding the aero-designed ones of the Auto Expo model. Only the rear and profile of the Harrier.ev are visible.

The Harrier.ev will get an all-wheel drive setup.

Tata Motors will give the Harrier.ev a choice of all-wheel drive setup which it calls Quad Wheel Drive (QWD), suggesting the midsize electric SUV will get a dual-motor setup with 500 Nm. However, it remains unclear whether QWD will be standard on the Harrier.ev. It will also be based on Tata Motors’ new Acti.ev+ architecture, a more advanced version of the platform used on the Curvv.ev.

It is expected to have a range of more than 500 km on a single charge.

While other specifications of the Harrier.ev remain under wraps, it is expected to have a range of more than 500 km on a full charge. As with other Tata.ev models, the Harrier.ev will also have multiple battery and powertrain options on offer. The Harrier.ev is expected to be priced around ₹28-30 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and rival the likes of the Mahindra XEV 9e and BYD Atto 3.
