The test mule, captured in exclusive images by ACKO Drive, was seen in Bengal Rouge and a shade of Yellow that has never been part of the Punch EV lineup.

ACKO Drive has spotted the Tata Punch EV facelift testing on Indian roads for the first time without camouflage, revealing colour options that could expand the electric vehicle's palette.

The test mule, captured in exclusive images by ACKO Drive, was seen in Bengal Rouge and a shade of Yellow that has never been part of the Punch EV lineup. This marks the first time the facelifted version has been photographed undisguised in public ahead of its launch on February 20.

The Tata Punch EV currently retails in Pureblack Majestic, Pristinewhite Pure, Empoweredoxide Empower, Dazebrown Sparkle, and Calgreenblue Dazzle colour options. The addition of Bengal Rouge and Yellow would bring the total count to seven colours, offering buyers more choices in the segment.

The Punch EV facelift is expected to feature cosmetic updates to keep the model fresh in the market. While the exclusive AckoDrive images reveal the new colours, details about design changes remain limited.

The vehicle spotted by AckoDrive appeared to retain the silhouette of the current model and the changes in design are similar to the ones on the ICE variant.

The Tata Punch EV is available with two battery pack options: 25kWh and 35kWh. The range varies from 315km to 421km on a single charge, depending on the variant and that will not change in the upcoming version.

The model has been performing in the Indian market since its launch, contributing to Tata Motors' position in the EV space. The facelift could help maintain momentum as competition intensifies. The launch is slated for February 20, and we’ll know more about the car then, right from the price to the rest of the specifications.
