Dealers reported that demand in November 2025 continued due to tax cuts and offers from manufacturers.
The Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) released data on vehicle sales for November 2025. The report shows an increase in total retail sales by 2.14% compared to November 2024. This growth occurred despite a base of comparison from the previous year.
Sales of cars rose by 19.7% in November 2025. This contrasts with the two-wheeler segment, which saw a decline of 3.1%. The three-wheeler category recorded an increase of 23.67%. Sales of trucks and buses grew by 19.94%. The tractor segment showed a rise of 56.55%. Construction equipment sales fell by 16.5%.
Comparisons with earlier months in 2025 show variations in growth. In October 2025, total retail sales increased by 40.5% compared to the year before. This month benefited from the festival period and tax reforms. The passenger vehicle segment in October grew by 11.35%, while two-wheelers rose by 51.76%.
September 2025 saw an overall growth of 5.22%. During that month, car sales increased by 5.8% and two-wheeler sales rose by 6.51%. August 2025 recorded a rise of 2.84% in total sales. In August, car sales grew by 0.93%, while the commercial vehicle sector saw an increase of 8.55%.
Dealers reported that demand in November 2025 continued due to tax cuts and offers from manufacturers. Inventory levels for cars dropped from a range of 53-55 days to 44-46 days. The outlook for the coming months relies on demand from villages and the winter season. The sowing of crops has crossed 39 million hectares. This suggests income for farmers. The industry expects sales to continue in December 2025.
