Ferrari Introduces Its Certified Pre-Owned Car Program For India

Ferrari continues to push the envelope, not just with its latest models but also with pre-owned vehicles. At the heart of this initiative is the Ferrari Approved Certification, a rigorous program ensuring that every pre-owned Ferrari meets the highest possible standards before it reaches new owners. This program is available at Ferrari headquarters in Maranello, at authorised dealerships worldwide, as well as at Navnit Motors, Ferrari Mumbai. At present, Ferrari’s pre-owned stable in India consists of six models- Portofino M, 296 GTB, 296 GTS, SF9- Spider, California, and California T.

The Ferrari Approved Certification program is a meticulous process that involves an inspection designed to deliver ultimate satisfaction for customers. Each pre-owned vehicle undergoes a detailed technical inspection conducted by highly skilled Ferrari technicians, trained extensively at Maranello. The process begins with verifying the origin and maintenance history of the vehicle, ensuring no major accidents mar its service history.

Ferrari says the technicians meticulously prepare both the exterior and interior of each car, making sure that every aspect of the vehicle is in pristine condition. This thorough preparation allows Ferrari to offer up to a 24-month guarantee on these pre-owned vehicles.

According to Ferrari, the inspection process is extensive, encompassing 190 individual checks. This includes mechanical operation tests, electrical system evaluations, and careful examination of liquid levels, suspension, brakes, cooling, and steering systems. Secondary checks cover the air conditioning, dashboard, safety systems, and the operation of lights, wheels, and tyres, ensuring compliance with Ferrari's high standards of safety, performance, and reliability. Then, the seasoned testers from Ferrari put each car through rigorous testing to ensure it performs at 100 per cent.

One of the standout features of the Ferrari Approved program is the comprehensive warranty that accompanies each certified pre-owned vehicle. The warranty covers parts and labour for major repairs and offers an unlimited mileage warranty, except for parts subject to routine maintenance like brake pads, disks, and tyres.
