Ducati's most extreme and exclusive supermotard yet is here to enthral Indian bikers.
Ducati has launched the Hypermotard 950 SP in India, priced at ₹19.05 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). With the ultra-exclusive version of the Hypermotard range having top-of-the-line features and design elements this one is one head-turning motorcycle.
The Ducati Hypermotard 950 SP has a sleek and aggressive design, with a unique paint scheme that sets it apart from its predecessors. The bike features a striking Ducati Red livery with matte black accents, complemented by sleek carbon fibre elements and a bold SP logo on the side panels. The design is further accentuated by the bike's compact dimensions, muscular tank, and tapered tail section, giving it a razor-sharp appearance. The Hypermotard 950 SP also features a distinctive LED headlight and a sporty seat design, complete with a passenger seat cover.
The Ducati Hypermotard 950 SP comes packed with electronic aids. It comes equipped with advanced safety features, including cornering ABS, which provides precise braking even when cornering. Additionally, the bike features a slide-by-brake, a system that helps the rider to initiate slides in a cool controlled manner. The Hypermotard 950 SP also has Wheelie Control which can let you set what level of wheelie would you like to pull. Furthermore, the bike offers multiple Riding Modes - Sport, Touring, and Urban - allowing riders to tailor their experience to suit their preferences. Lastly, the Ducati Hypermotard 950 SP comes standard with a Quick-Shifter.
The Ducati Hypermotard 950 SP is powered by a 937cc L-twin engine producing 114 bhp and 96 Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. The Testastretta 11 engine also features Ducati's signature desmodromic valve system.

The Ducati Hypermotard 950 SP has Ohlins suspension with increased wheel travel of 185mm at the front and 175mm at the rear. Additionally, it comes equipped with Marchesini forged wheels, which not only add to the bike's aesthetic appeal but also contribute to a 2 kg weight reduction. The braking system is equally impressive, with high-performance Brembo monobloc callipers and 320 mm discs at the front, paired with a 245 mm disc at the rear. However, the increased suspension travel has resulted in a 20 mm increase in seat height, making it a towering 890 mm, which may pose a challenge for some riders.

Priced at ₹19.05 lakh, the Ducati Hypermotard 950 SP is ₹ 3 lakh more expensive than the Hypermotard 950 RVE. It is the third most expensive Ducati with the 937cc L-twin engine, surpassing even the Ducati DesertX and Multistrada V2 S. Currently, there are no direct rivals to the Ducati Hypermotard 950 SP in India, but KTM is rumoured to be working on bringing in competitive models.
