The long-awaited next edition of Forza Horizon is now playable on PC and Xbox Series X and S, following a pre-order and pre-load period. PC gamers in India can buy it on Steam, priced at ₹5,499 for the Standard Edition, ₹7,999 for the Deluxe Edition including Car Pass (access to one new car per week for 30 weeks), and ₹9,699 for the Premium Edition which includes two future expansions, Car Pass, two car packs (Time Attack and Italian Passion), and a welcome pack.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers have full access to the base game already and can buy a Premium Upgrade to get all bonus content. Forza Horizon 6 will come to the PlayStation 5 later this year.
Premium Edition buyers in some territories were given early access starting on May 15. The game has already achieved the best pre-launch performance in Forza history, with 1.2 million pre-purchases, 181,775 concurrent early access players, and an estimated $140 million in sales, as per industry reports.

Set in Japan, Forza Horizon 6 has an expansive map covering urban Tokyo, including iconic landmarks such as the Shibuya Crossing, Ginko Avenue, and Tokyo Tower along with the C1 loop, an urban road circling the centre of the city. The game also takes drivers to the mountainous regions of Bandai Azuma and Mt. Haruna. Drivers start off as rookies and must progress through solo or cooperative modes, all while exploring Japan.

Forza Horizon 6 includes the franchise’s largest ever playable urban area with dense buildings, docks, industrial areas, using modern photogrammetry techniques. The game promises authentic and detailed rendering of seasons, with landscapes, crops, foliage, and even soundscapes adjusting as time progresses in-game.
A new Horizon Rush mode introduces obstacle courses allowing gamers to show off their skills. Users can progress through levels and earn wristbands. Players can also gather at new Time Attack Circuits, Car Meets, and Drag Meets, all seamlessly integrated into the game’s open world.

Forza Horizon 6 introduces car proximity radar, which gives gamers additional awareness of their surroundings to avoid collisions and keep track of their blind spots. Cars are more customisable than ever, and even tyre wear is now rendered authentically as each car is used. Animations and sounds have been improved throughout the game.
Drivable models available in the game include the 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 RS, 2023 Aston Martin Valkyrie, 2025 GR GT Prototype, 2017 Nissan GT-R (R35), 2024 Nissan Z NISMO, 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse, 2022 Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae, 2008 Maserati MC12 Versione Corsa, and 2020 Formula Drift #91 BMW M2 plus hundreds of other classic muscle, rally, sports, drift, eclectic, extreme, retro, offroad, rally monster, hot hatch, and even utility cars.
