Google Pixel 8a CAD Leaks Prior to Pixel 8 Public Launch

Google's Pixel phones are notorious for their leaks, and even before the official release of their latest flagship smartphone, the Pixel 8 series, details about the next Pixel phone, the Pixel 8a, have already surfaced. Months ahead of its anticipated 2024 launch, CAD photos of the Pixel 8a have emerged.

As expected, the Pixel 8a bears resemblance to the Pixel 8 lineup, featuring rounded corners. It also adopts the rose color, a pinkish off-white shade that we have previously seen with the smaller Pixel 8. Additionally, the rear camera visor and the bezels, while appearing uniform, are noticeably larger than those on the new Pixel 8 phones.

It's worth noting that the dimensions of the Pixel 8a have already been disclosed. With a thickness of 8.9mm, it matches the standard Pixel 8 and is slightly slimmer than the 9mm Pixel 7a.

This phone is anticipated to boast a 6.1-inch screen with a central punch-hole notch. The rear camera visor will house twin cameras along with an LED flash module.

While the Pixel 8a is expected to be equipped with the Tensor G3 chipset, it may have a lower clock speed. It will likely come with 8GB of RAM and run on Android 14.
