Google Pixel 8a Leaks Reveal Colour Options and Specs

The upcoming Google Pixel 8a has been extensively leaked ahead of its expected launch at Google I/O next month. Android Headlines has published 360-degree renders of the Pixel 8a showing its design and the four colour variants it will be available in.

The leaks reveal that the Google Pixel 8a will come in Obsidian (black), Porcelain (white), Bay (blue), and Mint (green) colours. These colour options mirror those offered for previous Pixel devices like the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.

The Pixel 8a is rumoured to feature a 6.1-inch FHD+ 90Hz display powered by Google's Tensor G3 chipset. It will pack a sizable 4,500mAh battery for all-day usage and 27W fast charging support.

The leak suggests the Pixel 8a will have the same dual rear camera configuration as its predecessor, the Pixel 7a. It includes a 64-megapixel primary camera and a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens. No upgrades to the camera hardware are expected from last year's model.

Google is expected to unveil the Pixel 8a at its annual Google I/O developer conference on May 14, 2024. Pricing for the Pixel 8a remains unclear, but it could be priced similarly to or slightly higher than the $499 (₹39,999) Pixel 7a, continuing Google's trend of $50 annual increases for the A-series phones.
