Ampere, the electric two-wheeler brand of Greaves Electric Mobility, has entered the top six electric two-wheeler manufacturers in India, according to the latest VAHAN data shared by the OEM on Tuesday. The company recorded year-on-year growth of more than 100 per cent in June, while its registrations increased 41 per cent compared with the previous month.
Its market share also rose to 5.6 per cent, which is due to the increased momentum in India's electric two-wheeler market.
This comes soon after Ampere recently crossed the mark of 400,000 electric scooters manufactured and sold in the country.

Ampere’s scooters are built on a 100 per cent LFP battery platform, which the company says offers enhanced safety, improved thermal stability and a lifecycle of up to approximately 200,000km.
