Ampere, the electric two-wheeler brand of Greaves Electric Mobility has crossed 10,000 VAHAN registrations in June, the company announced on Tuesday. This is the first time in almost three years that the company has breached the 10,000 monthly registration mark.
The electric two-wheeler OEM continues to be among the top six electric two-wheeler manufacturers in India, according to the latest VAHAN data shared by the OEM. The company recorded year-on-year growth of more than 100 per cent in June, while its registrations increased 41 per cent compared with the previous month.
Its market share also rose to 5.6 per cent, which is due to the increased momentum in India's electric two-wheeler market.
This comes soon after Ampere recently crossed the mark of 400,000 electric scooters manufactured and sold in the country.
