This year customers will stand the chance to win a Hero Xtreme 250R.
Hero MotoCorp and Thums Up have announced the launch of Thunderwheels 2.0, a promotional campaign offering consumers the chance to win a brand new bike. The collaboration builds on last year's campaign between India's largest motorcycle manufacturer and the Coca-Cola-owned soft drink brand. Last year, Hero was offering the Mavrick 440 as part of the promotion, and this year it’s the Xtreme 250R. Consumers can participate by scanning QR codes printed on specially marked Thums Up bottles and cans to enter the contest for the 250 cc bike.
"The response to Thunderwheels last year showed how well this connects with younger riders," said Aashish Midha, Head of Marketing for Hero MotoCorp's India business unit. "Today's youth want motorcycles that reflect their individuality and confidence. The Xtreme 250R delivers power, agility and style for riders who are serious about performance."
Sumeli Chatterjee, Category Head for Sparkling Flavours at Coca-Cola India and South-West Asia, said the partnership targets young consumers who seek high-energy experiences. "This collaboration engages with consumers in spaces that matter to them," she said.
The companies plan to support the campaign through television commercials, digital content, influencer partnerships, and collaborations with artists. The Xtreme 250R is positioned as a streetfighter motorcycle designed for performance riding.
