Hero Motocorp

The firm's British market entry centres on its Euro 5+ product lineup, showcasing the Hunk 440.

Hero MotoCorp, one the world's largest motorcycle and scooter producers, has announced its foray into the UK market via a strategic alliance with MotoGB Limited. This expansion represents Hero MotoCorp's 51st global market, bolstering its European operations after establishing footholds in Italy and Spain.

The manufacturer's British market entry centres on its Euro 5+ product lineup, showcasing the Hunk 440, a motorcycle engineered to satisfy regional demand for high-performance two-wheelers, according to an official company statement. This initiative forms part of Hero MotoCorp's broader strategy to enlarge its worldwide presence and consolidate its standing in the motorcycle sector.

"Hero MotoCorp's entry into the United Kingdom marks a defining milestone in our global expansion journey. Following our foray into Italy and Spain, our partnership with MotoGB, further strengthens our European footprint. The launch of Hunk 440 reflects our deep understanding UK riders - a motorcycle that stays true to the core of motorcycling while offering style, performance and reliability in accessible package. With this launch, we aim to make premium motorcycles accessible for first-time riders, and enthusiasts alike," Sanjay Bhan, Executive Vice President, Hero MotoCorp, was quoted as saying by Mint.

"With a presence now spanning 51 international markets, we reaffirm our commitment to redefining the future of mobility through our next-gen mobility solutions that deliver Limitless Freedom and Limitless Adventure to riders globally," he added.

MotoGB To Lead UK Distribution Network

MotoGB, headquartered in Lancashire, will handle Hero MotoCorp's product portfolio distribution throughout the UK. The initial distribution infrastructure will encompass over 25 official sales and service points, with expansion plans targeting more than 35 locations by 2026.

This growth strategy seeks to enhance customer accessibility nationwide. Furthermore, a comprehensive network of authorised dealerships and technical service facilities will deliver after-sales support and commercial assistance, elevating the ownership experience, Hero MotoCorp stated.

"We are proud to partner with Hero MotoCorp as they make their debut in the UK market. Both Hero MotoCorp and MotoGB share a deep commitment to putting customers first and ensuring a seamless ownership experience, supported by a robust sales and service network across the country. Beginning with the Hunk 440, we will be able to offer riders a unique combination of technology and value that will resonate deeply with consumers in the United Kingdom," said Matt Kay, General Manager of MotoGB.

Hunk 440: Premium Features At Competitive Price

Fitted with dual-channel ABS, USD Cartridge Forks manufactured by KYB, a complete digital TFT instrument cluster, and comprehensive LED lighting, the Hunk 440 delivers an upscale riding experience. Priced at £3,499 plus £200 on-road charges, the Hunk 440 comes in three colour options: Twilight Blue, Phantom Black, and Titanium Grey.
