Hero MotoCorp Inaugurates El Salvador Flagship Store and Expands Retail Network

Hero MotoCorp announced a new growth phase in El Salvador through a strategic alliance with VELOSA (Oriental Motors, S.A.). Leveraging VELOSA's regional automotive distribution experience, the partnership aims to expand Hero MotoCorp's retail presence, service coverage, and overall market reach across the country.

To launch the alliance, VELOSA inaugurated a new Hero flagship store on Calle El Progreso in San Salvador. The company has also opened two additional retail outlets located at Metrocentro San Salvador and Plaza Mundo Soyapango. Furthermore, operations have commenced with over 30 authorized dealer partners nationwide to provide localised service and customer support.

Integrated sales, aftersales, and spare parts services are currently available at the Calle El Progreso flagship location, Hero Merliot, and Santa Ana, while the outlets at Metrocentro San Salvador and Plaza Mundo Soyapango concentrate exclusively on vehicle sales.

Sanjay Bhan, Executive Vice President for Global Business, Global Product Planning, and Global Market Insights at Hero MotoCorp, highlighted that El Salvador remains a strategic Central American market, where the brand has served nearly 50,000 customers over the past 13 years with models like the Hunk and Xpulse.
