Hero MotoCorp's VIDA Appoints Ashutosh Dugal as Customer Success Head

Ashutosh Dugal has joined Hero MotoCorp's electric mobility brand VIDA to head its customer success function, according to a LinkedIn post by the executive. Dugal carries more than 25 years of experience in the automotive and mobility sectors, with a background spanning aftersales operations, customer support, and service management.

"Excited to begin a new journey with Hero MotoCorp and especially with VIDA ,a brand that reflects energy, purpose and renewed life, true to its name.

"Joining an organisation that has been a global market leader for over 25 years brings both pride and responsibility. The rapid growth of VIDA in India’s EV 2W space also reflects the larger shift towards sustainable mobility and a greener future," Dugal wrote on his LinkedIn page.

The appointment comes as Hero MotoCorp continues expanding VIDA's footprint in the country's increasingly competitive electric two-wheeler market, where it faces pressure from both established manufacturers and EV-native startups. VIDA currently competes in the premium electric scooter segment with offerings including the V1 range.

Outside his operational responsibilities, Dugal has maintained a visible presence in industry conversations, regularly sharing commentary on EV adoption, mobility trends, and aftersales ecosystems in India through LinkedIn posts and market analysis.
