Hero Xtreme 160R Silently Updated With New Features

Fresh from unveiling the new Hero Destini 125 Xtec, Hero MotoCorp has now launched the 2024 edition of its sporty 160 cc naked sport bike  — the Xtreme 160R. The updates attributed to the bike are on the same lines that we have already witnessed with the 160R 4V that launched in July. 

Thereby, the 2024 Hero 160R now also gets the new signature tail lamp design with the ‘H’ mark that represents the brand’s logo. Additionally, the 160R now also comes with a drag race timer, that can measure the acceleration timing from 0-60 kmph and quarter-mile dash – thus making it the first in the segment to gain this feature. 

Additionally, the Hero Xtreme 160R now gets a new pillion seat that is flatter in profile and lower than before, thus making it more comfortable. But beyond these changes, the Hero Xtreme 160R has essentially remained the same. On the aesthetic front, it will now be available with just one colour option—Stealth Black. 

Additionally, Hero MotoCorp will retail the Xtreme 160R in its single-variant guise only. As a consequence, the bike's ex-showroom price has been slashed by ₹10,000, and the new 2024 Hero Xtreme 160R will set you back by ₹1.11 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) now. In this price range, it will have the likes of the Yamaha FZ-FI V3, TVS Apache RTR 160, and the Bajaj Pulsar N150 as its competition.
