The farewell edition bikes boast a very familiar livery design that pays homage to the first CB1000 Super Four that was launched in 1992.
After being in production for the past 33 years, Honda will be pulling the curtains on one of its most iconic bikes, the CB1300 Super Four. But before it does that, the Japanese manufacturer is bidding adieu with a special tribute model in the form of the CB1300 Super Four Final Edition. These limited edition models will be characterised by distinct liveries and graphic design that pays homage to the first CB1000 Super Four that was launched back in 1992, and only 3,400 units will ever be manufactured.
As part of that commemoration, the Honda CB1300 Super Four Final edition and the Super Bol D’Or Final Edition are available in an exclusive Graphite Black colour option. While the SP editions get the iconic Pearl Sunbeam White as the only colour options, and these are the only two colour options that will be available across the range.
Besides that exclusive aesthetic treatment, Honda has not made any changes to the final edition CB1300s. So all four bikes continue to be powered by the same 1,284 cc engine, inline-four liquid-cooled engine that produces 111 bhp and 112 Nm, and it comes housed inside a dual-cradle frame, just like before. The standard bike comes with a conventional telescopic fork and dual-shock absorbers, while their subsequent SP variants swap the same for a premium Showa-sourced suspension components.
Honda has paid special attention to make sure that the final edition CB1300s looks authentically retro. So the dual-pod analogue instrument clusters have been retained, and in between the clusters is a small LCD display which has the gear indicator, fuel gauge and a small clock. Even the headlight and tail light design harks back to the OG CB1000, despite featuring LED lights.
While these limited special edition bikes won’t be sold in India, in Japan, the Honda CB1300 Super Four Final Edition and CB1300 Super Bol D’Or Final Edition are priced at 17,27,000 yen (approx ₹10.06 lakh), and 18,37,000 yen (approx. ₹10.70 lakh), respectively. Their subsequent SP versions are priced at 19,10,000 yen (approx. ₹11.13 lakh) and 22,11,000 yen (i.e. ₹12.88 lakh approx), respectively.
