The recall affects units manufactured between October, 2020 and April, 2024.
Honda has issued a recall for motorcycles ranging from 300-350 cc engine displacements in India. The Japanese brand has recalled the Honda H’ness CB350, CB350RS, CB300R and CB300F. According to Honda, the recall has been issued due to a wheel speed sensor defect. The company has noticed that due to an improper molding procedure water might seep into the wheel speed sensor thereby affecting its performance. The faulty wheel sensor could lead to errors in the speedometer, traction control and ABS systems; the latter two can pose a risk to the safety of the rider.

Honda will be recalling units manufactured between October, 2020 and April, 2024. The faulty part will be replaced free of cost at authorised Honda service centres. The company hasn’t revealed how many units of the above bike have been affected but given the popularity of the Honda H’ness CB350 and the CB350RS with respect to sales performance, these two bikes will form the bulk of the recalled units. This is the second recall issued for the Honda H’ness CB350 and the CB350RS.
The Honda CB300F is the most affordable bike of the above and is priced at ₹1.70 lakh (ex-showroom), the Honda CB300R on the other hand is assembled in India and retails for ₹2.40 lakh. The Honda CB350 series are part of the retro-classic motorcycle portfolio of the Japanese bike maker and competes against the likes of the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Jawa 350 and the Hero Mavrick 440.
