Mechanically, it will remain the same as the updated Honda CB650R that launched in the country earlier this year.

After the Honda CBR650R, Honda BigWing India has confirmed that the CB650R with the e-Clutch mechanism will launch as well. While an exact date is yet to be announced, the fact that both bikes have been teased on its social media page, strongly confirms that their debuts are just around the corner. Without the e-Clutch mechanism, the 2025 Honda CB650R was launched earlier this year at ₹9.29 lakh (ex-showroom).

The introduction of the e-Clutch mechanism should also help the CB650R’s case. Also, the whole idea of clutchless shifts is by itself very unique because unlike automatic transmission gearboxes, riders won’t have to stress on clutch control. This mechanism is taken care of by servo motors bolted onto the engine casing that pull the clutch when the bike is stationary and this should come in really handy in stop-and-go traffic situations. Moreover, Honda also gives riders the option to manually or automatically control the clutch.

The e-Clutch mechanism is one nifty tech that should help distinguish the Honda CBR650 amongst its competitors.

Apart from this addition, the rest of the bike remains the same. Right from those new round LED headlamps down to those new colour option. Mechanically, it will continue to be powered by the same 93.87 bhp strong, 649 cc, inline-4 engine that comes paired to a 6-speed gearbox. To know more about the 2025 Honda CB650R, head to this link
