Honda Cars India has launched the Black Editions of the Elevate SUV, and prices begin at ₹15.51 lakh and go up to ₹16.93 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The Elevate gets two dark editions – Black Edition and Signature Black Edition – and both are available only on the top-spec ZX trim.
Variants | MT Price (ex-showroom, India) | CVT Price (ex-showroom, India) |
---|---|---|
Black Edition | ₹15.51 lakh | ₹16.73 lakh |
Signature Black Edition | ₹15.71 lakh | ₹16.93 lakh |
The Black Editions gets a new Crystal Black Pearl colour which Honda says has been introduced due to popular demand from consumers. Takuya Tsumura, President & CEO, Honda Cars India, said, “The demand for a distinct, premium, and exclusive SUV variant was strongly voiced by our customers. The Honda Elevate Black Edition and Signature Black Edition embody boldness and sophistication, providing a unique offering for those who value style and innovation.”
Apart from the new black colour, the two Black Editions also get blacked-out alloy wheels and nuts, giving them a sinister look. The standard Black Edition has a chrome bar on top of the grille and silver accents on the bumpers, doors, and roof rails. On the other hand, the Signature Black edition gets an all-black treatment, with the chrome and silver accents of the standard Black Edition finished in black.
Inside, both Black Editions get an all-black theme with black upholstery and a black finish for the dashboard and its trims. Like the Apex Edition, the two Black Editions also get a 7-colour ambient lighting feature.
As mentioned earlier, the Black Editions are only available on the top-spec ZX trims. The standard Black Edition commands a premium of ₹10,000 over the regular Elevate ZX, while the Signature Black Edition is priced ₹30,000 over the standard Elevate.
The two Black Editions of the Honda Elevate compete with black editions of the Hyundai Creta Knight Edition (₹14.62 - 20.42 lakh), Kia Seltos X-Line (₹19.65 - 20.45 lakh) and MG Astor Blackstorm (₹13.45 - 14.46 lakh).
