Honda India Foundation has handed 101 customised emergency response vehicles, including 100 CB350 motorcycles and one Elevate SUV, to the Mumbai Police to strengthen urban patrolling.
Honda India Foundation (HIF), the corporate social responsibility arm for Honda group entities in India, has officially handed 101 Emergency Response Vehicles (ERVs) to the Mumbai Police.
The ceremonial flag-off took place in Worli, Mumbai, in the presence of Shri Mohd. Suvez Haque, IPS, Joint Commissioner of Police (Administration), alongside senior executives from Honda Cars India and the foundation. The donation forms a key part of Honda's CSR initiative aimed at bolstering field mobility, public safety, and response times for law enforcement agencies navigating high-footfall urban sectors.
The newly deployed police fleet comprises 100 Honda CB350 motorcycles, powered by a 20.7 bhp engine, and one unit of the 119 bhp Honda Elevate SUV, with all vehicles receiving dedicated law enforcement modifications.

The CB350 motorcycles have been fitted with dual-tone police sirens, public-address communication systems, emergency LED lighting, protective windscreens, front display boards, and rear storage boxes tailored for field equipment. Similarly, the Honda Elevate SUV features bespoke police modifications engineered to improve patrolling efficiency, operational visibility, and tactical response capabilities across metropolitan routes.
The latest handover marks a major milestone for the foundation's overarching public safety programme, "Sadak Sahayak - Surakshit Marg, Surakshit Jeevan". With the inclusion of this 101-unit batch, the Honda India Foundation has now provided a cumulative total of 613 customised motorcycles to support police operations and field mobility across various states in India.
