Export volumes grew at a sharper pace, climbing 37.4 per cent to 0.796 lakh units in this period.
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has recorded total sales of 5.63 lakh units in April 2026, up 17 per cent from 4.80 lakh units in the same month last year, the company announced on Friday. Domestic sales for the month came in at 4.84 lakh units, compared with 4.22 lakh units in April 2025, which is a year-on-year rise of 14.7 per cent. Export volumes grew at a sharper pace, climbing 37.4 per cent to 0.796 lakh units from 0.579 lakh units in the corresponding period.
"Building on our April performance, we continue to strengthen customer trust through disciplined and consistent execution. Demand across the two-wheeler market remains resilient across segments. We will continue to respond with agility to market dynamics while focusing on delivering sustainable and stable growth. Supported by a strong product portfolio and our dealer partners across the country, we remain committed to enhancing long-term enterprise value," Tsutsumu Otani, President and Chief Executive Officer of HMSI, said in a statement.
Honda said it continues to build on a nationwide network of more than 7,000 touchpoints to support its sales and after-sales operations across the country.
