A bunch of technical tweaks are some of the key highlights here.
The Honda NC750X has been revived for 2025 with a bunch of subtle yet important tweaks. These updates aim to make the adventure tourer look better, boast exciting performance, and should also be reliable at the same time. So for starters, the bodywork has received subtle revisions in the form of a new LED headlight and paint options. To make it eco-friendly, Honda has also gone for a new bio-based polycarbonate resin material called “Durabio” for its construction.
For the first time, the Honda NC750X will get dual 296 mm disc brakes with axial-mounted calipers, which stands out visually. The wheels have also been altered for a new ‘3by3’ lightweight cast aluminium option, which has helped save 1.8 kg weight.. However, themassive 23-litre storage compartment beside the fuel tank continues, and for 2025 it now has provisions for a USB charger and a luggage divider too.
Mechanically, the 745 cc, parallel-twin engine has remained the same, producing 57.8 bhp at 6,750 rpm and 69 Nm at 4,750 rpm. However, the DCT (dual-clutch transmission) gearbox has been recalibrated on the same lines as the 2025 Honda NT1100 for improved low-speed control. Just like before, the 2025 Honda NC750X is also available with three ride modes, plus a custom mode. But the rain mode has been fine-tuned now to make the traction control intervene more smoothly. Honda claims that these small changes have made the engine more frugal and it will now deliver 34 kmpl which translates to 479 km of range with its 14.1-litre tank filled to the brim.
On the features front, the NC750X gains a new 5-inch TFT full-colour display with Honda’s RoadSync smartphone connectivity available as standard. There are three customisable display themes on offer too, which Honda is calling “Bar”, “Circle”, and “Simple”. Lastly, the NC750X now also debuts a unique “wave” key feature wherein if the ID chip embedded in the key and the ID in the ECU don’t match, then the bike will just not start.
To round up the above updates, Honda is offering the NC750X adventure tourer with four accessory packs — Urban, Travel, Adventure, and Comfort. While the first three see the addition of a variety of storage options, the last one further optimises the seat to make it more comfortable and adds heated grips too.
Sadly, all of these updates introduced with the Honda NC750X will be limited to the European market. But if you want to experience that 745 cc mill, the Japanese have the XL750 Transalp on offer here. It is a proper adventure tourer bike with bigger bores to displace 755 cc, and more torque at 75 Nm produced at 7,250 rpm.
