Honda Sold 3 Crore Activas In 22 Years In India

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) announced that it has sold over 3 crore Activa scooters in the country. It has taken 22 years to achieve this milestone. The Honda Activa, introduced in 2001, revolutionised the Indian two-wheeler market, redefining daily commuting experience and it has evolved continuously across the generations.

After its launch in 2001, in just 2 years, it crossed the remarkable 10 lakh sales milestone. The Activa reached the 1 crore sales milestone in 2015 and it has taken 8 years to achieve the next 2 crore, showing how well accepted the Activa is in India.

Expressing gratitude on achieving this historic milestone, Tsutsumu Otani - President, CEO & Managing Director, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India said, “We are extremely proud of the Honda Activa's incredible journey.
