Sadly, the bikes remain Japan-only models
Honda announces a fresh coat of paint for their high-performance sport touring motorcycles, the CB1300 Super Four Sp And Super Bol D'or Sp. These flagship models, powered by a liquid-cooled, 1284 cc inline-four engine, will be available in a new "Pearl Sunbeam White" colour scheme in Japan.
The new "Pearl Sunbeam White" features a luxurious white base tank adorned with a combination of red, gold, and navy graphics. A bright red frame and matching tail cowl complete the elegant look. This new option joins the existing "Pearl Hawkseye Blue" colour scheme, giving customers a choice between two distinct styles.
The heart of this legendary motorcycle remains the 1,284 cc liquid-cooled, DOHC inline-four engine churning out a soulful 111.3 bhp at 7,750 rpm and 112 Nm of torque at 6,250 rpm. This engine is paired with a 6-speed transmission featuring a slipper and assist clutch. Additionally, riders can opt for an optional quickshifter.
The CB1300 series carries a rich heritage, tracing its roots back to the 1992 "CB1000 Super Four," which embodied the "Project BIG-1" concept. Throughout the years, Honda has continuously refined the series to meet evolving customer desires. In 2018, a significant upgrade introduced a special co-developed ÖHLINS front fork and rear suspension, along with a Brembo radial mount 4-piston calliper at the front, enhancing the overall performance.
Sadly, such iconic Hondas will never see the light of day in India. If you want something that screams 90s nostalgia with a modern undertone, you should check out the Suzuki Katana or the Kawasaki Z900 RS.
