HP promises that upgrades in the future will be easy thanks to the use of standard components that are easily accessible.
HP has launched a new series of mid-range gaming desktops, the Omen 35L. The models launched so far are based on Intel’s 14th Gen Core i5 and i7 CPUs and feature an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 GPU. The company is promoting the upgradeability of the Omen 35L series thanks to its use of industry-standard components with enough capacity to accommodate future expansion.
In addition, HP will launch its own Omen-branded enthusiast PC components including power supplies, fans, and AIO liquid coolers. These will be sold as standalone products.
HP India’s online store lists two models at launch time, one each with a Core i5-14400F and Core i7-14700F processor, priced at ₹1,26,360 and ₹1,45,800 respectively. HP is offering cashback and no-cost EMI options through multiple bank partners.
The two are otherwise identical, coming with the same 16GB of dual-channel DDR5-4400 RAM, Intel Z990H chipset-based motherboard, 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, and GeForce RTX 4060 GPU with 8GB of GDDR6 memory. Both are also equipped with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, Gigabit Ethernet, and USB Type-C and Type-A (10Gbps) ports.

The units on sale ship with an RGB air cooler and two 140mm RGB fans. HP also lists a 500W power supply. The company’s launch announcement mentions options for a 240mm AIO liquid cooler with an RGB or LCD screen cap, and power supplies with 850-1000W ratings. A company representative has told Acko Byte that these customisation options will be introduced in early 2025. Pricing for these options is not yet available.
The Omen 35L desktop’s RAM is upgradeable up to 128GB, and there’s a second available M.2 slot for additional storage. The cabinet is designed to make components easily accessible. HP also mentions customisable “external aesthetics” as another avenue for personalisation.
HP’s Omen Gaming Hub software offers system performance tuning, RGB customisation, and integration with gaming services.
