Hyundai Motor India is expected to announce the updated prices of its models in the coming weeks.

April is the start of a new financial year in India and prices of automobiles usually go up northwards during this time. OEMs find this as the perfect opportunity to adjust prices of their respective models for rising inflation and input cost. However, this year, only a handful of passenger vehicle brands, mostly in the luxury space, have increased prices of cars in April this year.

Hyundai Motor Company has now announced a marginal 1 percent price hike across its entire effective May 2026. The company says that the price revision is attributed to a combination of various cost escalations. The quantum of increase will vary based on the variants and models.

The South Korean carmaker further added that its endeavour is always to absorb rising costs to safeguard our customer from price fluctuations. Rising input costs have forced the carmaker to a slight price increase to offset part of the impact. Add to that the recent geopolitical tensions haven’t been suitable for business globally.
