Hyundai has introduced Creta Summer Edition variants with added technology, safety and convenience features across trims.
Hyundai Motor India Limited has introduced the new Creta Summer Edition variants, adding a range of technology, convenience and safety features across select trims of its best-selling mid-size SUV.
The Summer Edition arrives just as Volkswagen reveals the new Taigun facelift in India. With the recently launched Renault Duster and Skoda Kushaq facelift already creating a massive buzz in the compact SUV segment, Hyundai is clearly ensuring its popular Creta doesn’t get overshadowed. The Creta continues to remain a dominant player in the segment, with over 1.4 million customers and annual sales exceeding 2 lakh units in FY2025-26.
The Summer Edition introduces feature upgrades across multiple variants. The EX trims now get a smart key and push-button start, while the EX(O) variants add a full LED lighting setup, rear camera with dynamic guidelines, rear sunshade and dual-tone styled wheels.
Higher variants such as the S(O) and S(O) Knight editions now come equipped with a dashcam, catering to increasing demand for in-car safety and recording solutions. The SX and SX Premium trims receive more substantial upgrades, including a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, along with features such as a surround view monitor, blind-spot view monitor and front parking sensors.
The addition of a dashcam with multiple recording modes, including emergency and on-demand video capture, enhances safety and convenience for everyday driving. These updates reflect Hyundai’s focus on addressing evolving customer expectations.
Mechanically, the Creta remains unchanged, continuing with the 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine options, paired with manual and automatic transmissions.
With these updates, Hyundai aims to strengthen the Creta’s value proposition by offering a more feature-rich package while maintaining its competitive positioning in the segment.
