Hyundai Motor India, in partnership with IIM Tiruchirappalli and MDI Gurgaon, has launched the ARISE Core Talent Programme to develop future leaders. The initiative claims to blend academic expertise and practical learning.
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has announced the launch of the ARISE Core Talent Programme, a leadership development initiative in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli and Management Development Institute Gurgaon.
The programme is designed to nurture 100 employees identified as future leaders within the organisation.
The ARISE programme, which stands for Aspiring, Recognising Individuals for Success and Excellence, commenced its first phase at both academic campuses, with participants already engaged in coursework.
The second phase is set to begin in the third quarter of the 2026 fiscal year. HMIL selected participants through a rigorous evaluation process, considering factors such as current job roles, performance records, leadership assessments, and relevant experience.
The curriculum is structured to foster strategic thinking and collaborative leadership skills. It includes business case studies, role-playing exercises, group discussions, and simulation-based learning.
This blend of theoretical and practical approaches aims to equip participants with the skills necessary for effective leadership in a dynamic business environment. Natwar Kadel, Vertical Head of Human Resources at HMIL, described the programme as a long-term investment in leadership development.
As per HMIL, the partnership with IIM Tiruchirappalli and MDI Gurgaon was established after a careful evaluation of academic institutions, focusing on their reputation, and teaching methodologies.
Faculty from both institutions will provide expert guidance and pedagogical resources throughout the programme.
The ARISE programme follows a three-pronged approach of education, exposure, and experience. HMIL expects the initiative to enhance employee retention, engagement, and provide clear career advancement pathways.
