Hyundai Previews India-Spec Bayon SUV with Official Design Sketches

Hyundai Motor India Limited has officially unveiled the preliminary design sketches of its upcoming SUV, the Hyundai Bayon, following the recent announcement of the model's official nomenclature.

Conceptualised and developed as a global product, the newly released design renderings offer an early glimpse into both the exterior aesthetics and interior architecture of the new vehicle. The Korean carmaker is expected to position the Bayon between its already popular Venue and Creta SUVs.

The exterior styling of the Bayon reflects Hyundai's evolving ‘Art of Steel’ design philosophy, which relies heavily on architectural forms, precise geometric surfaces, and sharp character lines. The front-end design sketch highlights a strong SUV stance characterised by a sculpted bonnet, pronounced wheel arch fenders, and protective lower-body cladding.

A central focal point of the front fascia is the new H-Edge lighting signature, which gives the vehicle a distinct visual identity while reinforcing its broad proportions and sturdy aesthetic on the road.

Inside, the interior sketch provides a preview of a cabin designed around contemporary urban living and connectivity expectations. Hyundai states that the cabin layout focuses on delivering high-tech features, intuitive driver interactions, and smart connected experiences.

The enterprise positions the interior as a comfortable and refined space for passengers, although official details regarding cabin dimensions, seating capacity, or specific technological equipment have not yet been formally disclosed by the manufacturer.
