The Venue leads in adult protection scores amongst its rivals. Its frontal test score beats the Nexon and Syros.
The Hyundai Venue received a 5-star rating in the Bharat New Car Assessment Programme (BNCAP) crash tests conducted in 2026. Bharat NCAP tested the Venue HX2 CRDi MT and HX10 CRDi AT variants.
The Venue scored 31.15 out of 32 in adult occupant protection (AOP). It earned 15.15 out of 16 in the frontal offset deformable barrier test. The side movable deformable barrier test gave 16 out of 16.

Child occupant protection (COP) reached 44.46 out of 49. The dynamic score stood at 23.46 out of 24. Child restraint system installation scored full 12 out of 12.
The Venue comes with standard frontal airbags, belt pretensioners, and load limiters for driver and passenger. Side head curtain and thorax airbags fit as standard. Electronic stability control and seat belt reminders operate across variants.

Frontal offset tests showed good protection for head and neck areas in the Venue. Chest received adequate protection. Side tests provided good protection for head, thorax, chest, and pelvis.
Child tests used JOIE i-SPIN 360 E restraints. Both 18-month and 3-year-old dummies got good frontal and side protection scores.
Knee airbag lacks in the Venue. Rear passenger lacks belt pretensioner and load limiter. Some child restraints lack i-Size or integrated options
The body shell stayed stable in tests. Pedestrian protection meets AIS-100 standards.
