The 2026 Hyundai Verna facelift comes with a few styling tweaks and a bunch of feature upgrades over the outgoing model.
Hyundai just launched a mid-cycle facelift of the Verna. The updated iteration of the sedan gets styling as well as feature upgrades over the outgoing pre-facelift model. Besides, Hyundai has also gone with a new trim nomenclature with the new Verna. Let us look at what all has changed in the facelifted Verna in comparison to its predecessor.
This being a facelift, Hyundai has kept the overall design of the Hyundai Verna intact but introduced some subtle yet noticeable styling updates. For instance, the front grille now takes a different shape with new black chrome internals. The front bumper has also been revised and houses sleeker fog lamps than before along with new air splitters.

Along the profile, the silhouette of the Verna remains unchanged but it gets a new set of 16-inch wheels for the higher trims. At the rear too, things remain largely similar barring a reprofiled bumper that now houses a faux silver skid plate, with a diffuser element at the bottom. Apart from all the cosmetic updates, Hyundai has also added two new shades to the facelifted Verna namely Classy Blue and Titan Grey Matte.
Inside the cabin, the overall layout remains the same but with small changes. The two-spoke steering wheel has given way to a new three-spoke flat bottom unit with the new Morse Code ‘H’ logo, similar to the one seen in the new-gen Venue. The twin 10.25-inch displays have been retained, though the digital instrument cluster now features updated graphics.

Further, the infotainment system now comes with the updated Hyundai Bluelink suite that now offers more than 70 connected car features Hyundai has added plenty of comfort features to the updated Verna including an 8-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat with memory function, a 4-way electrical adjustable front passenger seat, and a a boss mode for the front passenger seat, allowing rear occupants to adjust the seat forward.
Safety has also been enhanced in the new Verna with the addition of a 360-degree camera, blind spot monitor, in-built dashcam, and seven airbags on the top variant, compared to six earlier, which is a segment-first among its rivals.
Mechanically, the Hyundai Verna remains unchanged. It continues to be offered with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol unit. Both engines are paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard. The naturally aspirated version also gets a CVT option, while the turbo-petrol engine can be paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
