iGowise aims to redefine urban electric mobility with its leaning three-wheeler featuring enhanced stability and home fast charging.

Bengaluru-based EV startup iGowise Mobility has unveiled its flagship BeiGo X4, a tilting electric trike that combines the agility of a two-wheeler with the added stability of a three-wheeler. Deliveries are scheduled to begin during the upcoming Diwali season, with the company aiming to deliver 1,000 units by the end of the current financial year.

The BeiGo X4 is built around iGowise's proprietary anti-topple tilting technology, which allows the upper half of the vehicle to lean naturally with the rider while the twin rear wheels provide enhanced grip and stability. The company says this architecture is designed to improve confidence during low-speed manoeuvres and on uneven or slippery Indian roads.

The electric trike will be offered at an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹1.25 lakh for the first 300 customers through an invite-only programme, after which it will retail at ₹1.56 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom).

The BeiGo X4 has an IDC-certified range of 100 km, and the company claims its proprietary HomeSwft 72V architecture takes 100 mins to charge the battery using a home power connection. Other highlights include a triple-disc Combined Braking System (CBS) and a dual rear wheels for improved traction. According to iGowise founder Sravan Appana, smaller EVs require less energy, occupy less road space, and work with smaller batteries compared to heavier electric vehicles, making them particularly relevant for crowded cities and everyday urban mobility.

iGowise claims the vehicle is the result of more than five years of research and development, with over 50 prototypes built and 1.5 lakh kilometres of real-world testing completed across diverse Indian road conditions. The BeiGo X4 has also received ICAT and ARAI certifications and complies with CMVR regulations and the AIS-156 battery safety standard. The company currently holds 12 patents related to its vehicle architecture and balancing technology.
