The mobility expo will be held from February 1 to 3, 2024 in New Delhi.
The Engineering Exports Promotion Council (EEPC) India along with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry have announced the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024. The inaugural edition of the mobility expo will be held from February 1 to 3, 2024 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
EEPC India mentioned that 27 automotive manufacturers have confirmed their presence at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo. These include Kia, BMW, Bajaj Auto, Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Toyota Kirloskar Motors, Mahindra and Mahindra, Royal Enfield and more. Furthermore, more than 400 automotive component manufacturers have been confirmed.
Piyush Goyal, Minister for Commerce and Industry, said, that "despite hesitation from stakeholders regarding the timeline, the Bharat Mobility Global Expo has been organised in less than a year."
Bharat Mobility Global Expo will focus on automotive and powertrain technologies, automotive components, electrical and electronics mechanical subsystems, tyres, urban mobility, battery technologies, charging infrastructure and more. The expo will also have multiple conferences on battery manufacturing and recycling, electrification and battery safety, ADAS and security, ethanol and alternative powertrains, urban mobility and more. It will also include an exhibition of electric vehicles as well as automotive technology.
The event is supported by industry bodies such as the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), Automotive Component Manufacturers Association (ACMA), Automotive Tyre Manufacturers Association (ATMA), Society of Manufacturers of Electric Vehicles (SMEV) and NASSCOM.
