The Tata Sierra was relaunched last month in a brand new avatar, almost 28 years after it was discontinued.
The Indian Women’s Cricket team achieved a massive feat last month, winning its first ever ODI World Cup. To commemorate this win, Tata Motors announced at the time that it would reward every member of the World Cup team with a brand new Tata Sierra. The company today held a felicitation event for the team, attended by top Tata leadership including N. Chandrasekaran (Chairman, Tata Sons and Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd.) and Shailesh Chandra (MD & CEO, TMPVL).
Tata Motors says each member of the winning team will be presented with a Sierra of their choice, allowing them to pick the variant that best suits their preferences. The ceremony coincided with the official opening of bookings for the new-gen Tata Sierra. Tata Motors recently revealed the prices for all variants of the new Sierra, starting from ₹11.49 lakh and going up to ₹21.29 lakh (both prices ex-showroom). Deliveries for the Sierra will begin in January 2026.
Tata Motors is offering the Sierra in seven trims, namely Smart+, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Adventure+, Accomplished, and Accomplished+. The new Tata Sierra comes in six exterior colour options namely Bengal Rouge (Red), Andaman Adventure (Yellow), Coorg Clouds (Silver), Munnar Mist (Green), Mintal/Pure Grey, and Pristine White, some with dual-tone black roofs.

The next-generation Tata Sierra will be offered with both internal combustion and all-electric powertrains, with the ICE variants already announced and battery-powered ones expected in early 2026. The ICE engine lineup includes the familiar 1.5-litre Kryojet turbo-diesel seen on the Nexon and Curvv, along with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol motor.
