The upcoming mid-range device is expected to compete with Nothing, OnePlus, and Xiaomi, which currently dominate the segment.
Infinix, a brand rapidly establishing itself in the Indian smartphone market, has launched its latest offering, the GT 20 Pro. This mid-range smartphone, starting at ₹24,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant and going up to ₹26,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model, will be available from Flipkart starting May 28.
To entice early adopters, Infinix is including a free GT Gaming Kit valued at ₹5,499 with the purchase. Additionally, customers using ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, or SBI cards can avail a flat ₹2,000 discount. Alternatively, a ₹2,000 exchange offer is also available.
The GT 20 Pro boasts several standout features, beginning with a 6.78-inch Full HD+ 144Hz AMOLED screen, enhanced by a Pixelworks X5 Turbo Gaming Display Chip. This combination promises visual experience, particularly for gamers.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and an additional 12GB of virtual RAM. To ensure efficient cooling, Infinix has incorporated a 78% larger VC cooling system, a 68% larger PCM graphite sheet, and over 66% thermal conductivity around the chipset.
Aesthetically, the phone retains its cyber mech design, featuring RGB mini LED combinations for four distinct lighting effects that sync with music, calls, and notifications. The GT 20 Pro runs on Android 14, layered with Infinix’s XOS 14, which is bloatware-free. claims the company. Infinix has committed to providing two major Android updates and three years of security patches.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 108-megapixel rear camera, accompanied by a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a macro camera, alongside a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. The device is equipped with a substantial 5,000mAh battery supporting 45W fast charging, consistent with its predecessor, the GT 10. An in-display fingerprint scanner adds to the convenience.
