Isuzu Motors India has updated its entire range of pickups and SUVs, to conform to the new BS-VI Phase II emission norms. It has refreshed its product portfolio by adding new features to select models and introducing a new colour ‘Valencia Orange, on all PV models. The prices now start at Rs. 10.65 lakh and goes up to Rs. 37.90 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the model and variant.

Toru Kishimoto, Deputy Managing Director, Isuzu Motors India, said, “We are proud to have set the benchmark in presenting India with its first-ever Lifestyle Utility Vehicle, the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross, and sure that the updated range will carry the success story forward. With the wide range of competent and versatile products, we are sure that there is an Isuzu for everyone.”
The new update comes in for both the passenger and commercial vehicle segments of the company. However, the most important update is that the engines are now compliant with the new BS-VI Phase II emission norms, under the Real Driving Emission (RDE) protocols. Additionally, the Isuzu D-Max Regular Cab and S-CAB are the only vehicles in the segment with an electronically controlled exhaust gas recirculation for optimal treatment management.
On the other hand, the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross and the Isuzu MU-X come equipped with an Idle Stop System, low friction tyres, and transmission fluid warmers in automatic variants. In terms of styling, the Isuzu MU-X receives a new sporty grille up front, while the Isuzu Hi-Lander comes equipped with automatic climate control with integrated controls and a rear defogger.
The company has also enhanced the exterior of the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross Z (4x2 AT) and is offering the pickup truck with new blacked-out alloys, dark grey ORVMs, and front fog lamp garnish. Inside, the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross Z (4x2 AT) features dual-tone seat upholstery with brown inserts on the dashboard, door panels, and gear selector lever. The car now also comes equipped with cruise control and steering-mounted buttons for the same. With respect to safety, Isuzu has added Traction Control Systems and Electronic Stability Control along with Hill Descent Control and Hill Start Assist.
